All Levels Pottery Wheel Course (Friday Evenings)
Aspiring potters of all levels can enjoy the fun challenge of the potter’s wheel! We will teach you all the basics in this beginner-friendly class. New students will create a variety of cups, blows, plates, and (hopefully!) a mug. If you already have experience on the wheel, we’ll help you refine your skills with trimming, decorating, and glazing techniques. Learn to throw taller, add handles, and make sets! All projects will be completed with food-safe glazes. Practice makes perfect, so extra open studio time is included. Your first bag of clay and use of basic tools are also included, so grab an old towel and get ready to get dirty! (All pieces produced will be food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.)
Dates: 6 weekly sessions beginning Friday, July 25 (Makeup dates September 5 and September 12, if needed)
Time: 6:30 pm - 9 pm
Instructor: Marissa Hudson
Includes: Open Studio time, 1st bag of clay, and use of studio tools and kilns.
