Pottery and Ceramics Classes

What’s Included in Each Class

Classes run for 6 weeks within an 8-week session, giving you time to dive deep into new skills with guidance from experienced instructors.

We offer adult classes every weeknight, as well as morning classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. All classes are $300. Participants must be 16+.

Each class registration includes:

  • 2.5 hours of instruction time per class

  • 6 classes over 8 weeks

  • 1st bag of clay and firing fees

  • 1 shelf for project storage

  • Weekly demos

  • Unlimited studio practice time during Open Studio hours

  • Access to studio tools, equipment, and glazes. Learn more about the treasure chest of resources in our studio here.

Schedule of Classes

The exact schedule will differ depending on the session, but typically, we offer the following:

  • Wheelthrowing classes: Monday evenings, Tuesday mornings, Tuesday evenings, Wednesday evenings, Thursday evenings, Friday mornings, and Friday evenings

  • Handbuilding classes: Monday evenings, Wednesday evenings, and Thursday mornings

  • Sculpture classes: Tuesday evenings [sometimes Tuesday mornings]

We don’t offer 6 week classes on Saturday or Sunday! At this time, we do not offer classes for kids or teens. All students must be 16+ to register.

Workshops

Can’t commit to 6 weeks during the week quite yet? Consider taking one of our one-day workshops in wheelthrowing or handbuilding, focused on creating one project. Many of them are family-friendly for our young clay friends!
